CS2 Anubis — B Site Smoke

A community-submitted CS2 Anubis Smoke lineup that lands on B Site. The grenade is in the air for 5.4 seconds. Every step below is captured as a still frame from in-game — the standing spot, the crosshair alignment, a zoomed crop of that alignment, and the result — so you can match your own screen against each one instead of guessing from a video.

How to throw it

  1. Find the exact standing spot on Anubis shown in the throw-position frame. The wide shot above it shows the surrounding area so you can orient yourself first.
  2. Match your crosshair to the alignment frame. The zoomed crop of the same frame is there for the fine adjustment — line up on the landmark it highlights, not on the middle of your screen.
  3. Throw at full power with left click — do not tap right click, a standard throw and a lob travel very different distances.
  4. It lands on B Site after 5.4 seconds in the air. Compare the result frame against your own throw — if the smoke is off, the alignment step is almost always the one that drifted.

What this grenade does

A CS2 smoke is volumetric: the cloud fills the volume it lands in, leaks through gaps and doorways, and holds for roughly 18 seconds, so where it settles matters far more than where it was thrown from.

This is a T-side lineup: it is thrown to open up Anubis for an execute, so it is worth having a teammate ready to move the moment the Smoke is on B Site.

How hard is it

Easy — the alignment is a large, obvious landmark, so this one survives a bad day.

Does it still work?

Map geometry and grenade physics change between CS2 updates, and a lineup that worked last season can land a metre short after a patch. No member has voted on this lineup yet. If you land it, mark it verified so the next player knows it survived the latest update.
